Arielle Snagg - Visiting Summer Intern from Pomona College

Picture
Arielle is originally from Brooklyn, New York but attends Pomona College in Claremont, California. She received a Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) grant to come to Bangor and join the SoBA lab so that she can conduct research for her undergraduate senior thesis. She is interested in neuroaesthetics and emotion. More specifically, she is working on a project that investigates the potential relationship between an implicit physiological measure of emotional state and an explicit aesthetic judgment. At Pomona, Arielle is double majoring in Neuroscience and Dance and she is extremely excited about this opportunity to combine these two interests and to further explore them in her choreography. In her spare time, Arielle likes revisiting her West indian heritage through food and music and getting lost in youtube videos of professional dancers.
